  • Dry eye related problems: people may find contact lenses intolerable with dry eye. There are options now that can eliminate the problem:
    - New material with higher oxygen permeability and water content;
    - Custom fit contact lenses with the new computer aided technology available;
    - Dry eyes can be effectively treated and managed.

     
  • Presbyopia problem: inability to focus at near.
    - Different designs of bifocal and multifocal contact lenses to suite various conditions and ages are now available.

     -Wave contact lenses: using patient's cornea topography to design the lens that will fit the best on one's cornea. 

  • Progressive myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism for children and adults.
    - different designs of orthokeratology lenses are available to slow down the progression. 
  • High astigmatism 
  • Colored contact lenses.
